Family history
Anthonia Ramos is an artist using all kinds of materials to produce statues and sculptures. Andreas Ramos made a bit of a name for himself as a boat racer participating in competitions around the Federation. Apart from these, he would be home often enough and lavish time on his wife and daughter. Anthonia and him had already been married and had almost grownup children of their own when they met, which is why they only had one child together.
Rani had the interesting position of being both a single child with her parents's full attention, and enjoying a full family life when her older half siblings visited or took her away for a holiday. She took to travelling very early and never ceased to wonder what was beyond the point she had reached.
Her first desire in life was to sail boats, then to pilot starships. But as she grew older, she got to care about humanitarian issues. Finally she resolved to combine her interests by studying medicine and joining Starfleet. The choice was tough both on her and her family, but it was their support that carried her through many a day of self doubt to final graduation.

Medical profile
Rani Amos is healthy and reasonably fit, but her bone structure show several fractures at various ages.
