AngMar Sollom

Born to an ambassador and to a career Starfleet officer, his career choice would have been not difficult to guess. However, Sollom was not of the typical kind of individual. Instead of taking advantage of contacts in all places, he choose from early age to be a self-made man.

Becoming older, Suv started going off-planet with his father whenever his assignment allowed. In the latter years, Radagast got a semi-permanent assignment to Q'nosS, the Klingon homeworld. It was in this most unexpected of the places that Sollom's liking for piloting flourished. Klingon style of flying is ... fascinating to say the least.

Starfleet Academy was definitevely not his turf. After several years working for planetary executives, Sollom got hired as a cargo transport pilot. Following that lead, the got to know every corner of the Alpha and Beta quadrants (including the dirty ones). It was a time of wonderment for him. He got to finally understand what the Vulcan mantra of Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations was all about. And what combinations did he got in!

Then all of a sudden, the Dominion War broke loose and the frontline drew closer to the transport lines. Ferrying cargo along the flashpoints was such a profitable endeavour that one needed not to be a Ferengi to jump at it. And so did Sollom's captain.

After the end of the war, Sollom spent over a year recovering from injuries sustained (see Medical History) and knew it would be hard to be accepted back in the usual jobs he got.

His life changed entirely when he was in one of those dirty corners of the quadrant. There was a woman, lots of money and a bet involved. Sollom lost the bet.

And next year he was accepted into Starfleet Academy.
