Family history
Born in Tokyo, Ikea grew up using his Japanese name, Kenji. When 16 years he joined Starfleet academy under his first name of Ikea. His mom from Japan and his father... a bit of a mystery, Ikea accelled in the martial arts of Kendo, Karate, and Ninjitsu. Coming from a farming family his mother was proud when Ikea made it into Starfleet Academy. When Ikea was 14 a group of ruffians at his school stabbed him for no apparent reasons, these kids were tryed for attempted murder and the attacker went to jail fo 15 years.

Graduated 7th grade at Bayview Community School, graduated 12th grade at Kitsilano Secondary School, graduated Starfleet Academy.
Medical profile
Stabbed in the gut at the age of 14, when Ikea was 6 he fell off a cliff about 3.5 m high and hit his head, he still carries a scar to this day, other than that ikea has had no other serious except for a few bumps and scratches while growing up.
