Family history
Yuri was born to wealthy family in St. Petersburg, Russia.
His family has a strong tradition of being business owners and merchants of
various wares. The family is strong rooted to St. Petersburg and has never left except for leisure vacations. The family has always had a deep rooted prejudice against Germans for the 2nd World War over 4 centuries ago. When Yuri was 14 his family’s store caught on fire and forced an explosion that trapped his brother in the back room. He tried to save him but the fire was too intense for Yuri to go through but he still tried and received the burns from the failed attempt. The loss of his brother will have after affects on him and possibly away missions involving the death of a friend he cannot save. The explosion was believed to have been caused by a bad "fuel" line to the store but his parents believe it was sabotage by the competing store which is far too outlandish for people to believe but they still hold that belief firm. As life moved on for Yuri he saw Starfleet as his answer to his problems. His family refused to help him join that group of wild and dangerous people who might send him to his death for a fools cause. His parents beleive to this day that starfleet started the dominion war and the fabricated the events to make them sound like the "good guys." Yuri’s family has exiled him from the family because of his abandoning of the family beliefs, all he now has left is Starfleet and himself. Yuri persisted and finally gave up hope for sponsorship from his parents and on his own was allowed into the academy. His family having disowned him Yuri has learned to rely on himself if he’s in trouble and so far it’s worked. In
various training session Yuri has been outspoken toward some of the instructors when he believes that what they are teaching is wrong or inefficient.

Physcological Stability: Still suffers occasional nightmares and grief from his brothers death. Feels rejected becuase of parents, may become easily depressed abd has been assigned medication if he becomes extremly depressed.
Physical Illness/Injuries: Burns on upper right arm and chest are a result from second degree burns. Has had the Cardassian Flu, and broken 2 ribs, 1 arm, and has dislocated a shoulder.
