Family history
Though Middle Eastern by heritage, most of Ibrahim's immediate family was born in Canada. His brother Shirro later moved to Israel. Ibrahim met Lynn while visiting her native Ireland, and she emigrated to live with him. Ibrahim was the first in his family to join Starfleet.
Education
Ibrahim has spent most of his adult life in Starfleet. He began his career as an enlisted crewman and worked his way through the ranks, displaying great talent in all subjects. He excelled in Engineering, also doing well in Science and Medical tasks. Ibrahim had no desire to enter officers' training, but eventually it was the only way he could avoid an early retirement. His last enlisted rank was Chief Petty Officer.
