Family history
Son of a local judge, S'Tran learned early the importance of law and its meaning to the average Caitain. With such a free culture, the law must be light handed, but still firm, or so his father taught him.
When he came of age S'Tran, intrigued by the other worlds he had heard of in childhood stories, applied for Starfleet as a JAG officer. He was accepted, and whilst completing his first year as a cadet, he made friends with several engineering cadets. He found a new love that year... the intricacies of physics and the boundries of the universe.
After long thought, S'Tran requested a re-assignment to the engineering corp, and though it took a further year for his request to be accepted, he finally began his training.
As with all Caitains, his parents and sitter are proud of their boy, and wait eagerly for the next day they see him.
